History
1979: Lucien Bogaert founds Bogaert Transmission in Londerzeel, a company focused on transmission chain, sprockets, transmission belts and other transmission components.
1987: Bogaert Transmission builds a complete new building in the industrial park in Londerzeel, next to the A12 motorway, between Brussels & Antwerp. This building contains office spaces, a workshop & hangar with a large storage space.
1995: Johan & Chris Bogaert, Lucien Bogaert’s 2 sons, become managing directors.
1996: Founder Lucien Bogaert deceases.
1997: Bogaert Transmission acquires Geha Industries Belgium, expert in chains for heavy industries.
1998: Purchase of advanced CNC machines for custom components.
2002: Expansion of the warehouse.
2003: Bogaert Transmission acquires Legendre Chains, distributer of chains & sprockets for the beverage- & bottle industry in Europe.
2007: Specialist in components and services for conveyors, modular belts & table top chains BMCS is acquired.
2008: Bogaert Transmission expands the company building with bigger office space, warehouse & workshop.
2012: For better technical customer support, Bogaert Transmission establishes an Engineering division.
2014: Bogaert Transmission acquires Denderbelting, expert in welded conveyor and driving belts.
